History : Château de Santenay is one of the largest wine-producing estates in Burgundy. Philippe le Hardi (Philip the Bold) son of King Jean le Bon of France (John the Good) was the most illustrious owner of Château de Santenay.
The top value of the domaine : A large panel of appellations in Côte de Beaune and Côte Chalonnaise.
A few woods : A large domaine which managed to balance modern and traditional techniques aiming to bring Terroir to its best quality. Many medals reward the wines every vintage.
Thanks to a series of investments, the winery has vats that correspond to the volumes produced by each plot, enabling the origin of the terroir to be respected and ensuring the traceability of the wines.
